As is such in my life, I have become accustomed to suffering bouts of unprecedented downtime. This empowers me to reflect over the direction of the Open Source community and allows me to fulfil my role as Freelance Software Tester by submitting feedback to the development teams of the variety of Open Source sofware I use. However, this time; I was just busy continuing my own personal Development Cycle. This will be attached in due course.

I have had to start a new weblog as my previous hosting provider was unable to cope with the sheer number of visits from the HLUG (Highland Linux User Group) community and other such visitors.
Expect to see more of the same style of hardware and software reviews containing detailed analysis of the current GNU/Linux support and offerings, coupled with other comical stories about my life and tutorials regarding the intricate workings of the open source software offerings.
The first tutorial will describe in depth how to configure your Ubuntu Linux firewall to work with the Mozilla Corperations Thunderbird email client. This will be attached in due course.
